KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Road Commission of Kalamazoo County managing director Joanna Johnson is retiring on November 14 and has served as the director since November 2007.
Johnson is a past president and member of the County Road Association of Michigan since 2015 and a member of the Michigan Transportation Asset Management Council, serving as it’s chair since 2016.
Travis Bartholomew has been named the new RCKC managing director effective November 6, 2024. He has served as the assistant managing director with Joanna, has decades of experience in road commission operations and is well-prepared to take on this leadership role.
The RCKC says his experience and familiarity with their operations will ensure a smooth transition and continued progress in their mission to enhance road safety and infrastructure in Kalamazoo County.
