KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — A boil water alert has been issued for homeowners on Dearborn Avenue in Kalamazoo’s Eastside neighborhood.
The area affected is a six block section between Wallace and Lum Avenue, and this time it’s planned. Scheduled repairs may mean the system will be exposed to contamination that may or may not be safe to drink.
The say the repairs will be completed sometime today. The boil water alert will stick around for the next 72-hours until tests can be run on the water.
