KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The largest consumer-focused gathering of blind people in the state of Michigan is coming to Kalamazoo this week.
The National Federation of the Blind of Michigan 2024 State Convention will be held Thursday through Sunday at the Radisson Hotel.
Organizers say the event includes a free exhibit hall with over two dozen vendors with products, services, and information for people who are blind and low vision along with their families and friends. The exhibit hall is open to the public Friday from 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
There are additional sessions and activities throughout the weekend.
More information on the convention is available at www.nfbmi.org/convention.
The National Federation of the Blind of Michigan says it actively creates opportunities for blind people to turn their dreams into reality with advocacy, education, and networking resources across ages, professions, and cities.
