KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Homeowners along Dearborn Avenue between Wallace and Lum Avenue are cleared to begin drinking their tap water again after tests revealed no contamination in the system.
A precautionary boil water alert had been issued because the city scheduled repairs on the system that might have exposed the water to contamination.
They say now that tests show they were able to make the repairs required without exposing the system to contaminants.
The work was completed on Thursday.
