KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Sometime today, Public Service crews in Kalamazoo are going to make an unspecified repair on the water system at 2131 Southern Avenue.
As a precaution, they are issuing a boil water emergency for the other homes on Southern between Emerald and the spot where the road ends for the next couple of days.
Water quality test results should be available by then.
In the meantime they suggest that any tap water you plan to drink should be boiled for at least two minutes to destroy any bacteria.
They say its safe for doing the laundry or bathing, just not for ingestion.
