DORR TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Microsoft has purchased more land in west Michigan, this time buying 272-acres in Allegan County.
Crain’s Grand Rapids Business reports the technology giant purchased two pieces of property along US-131 in Dorr Township after also buying 316-acres in Kent County’s Gaines Township from Steelcase.
Microsoft worked with Lakeshore Advantage Corporation, an economic development organization, on the Dorr Township purchase.
The Gaines Township purchase is for a potential data center, but the Allegan County purpose is not yet known.
