KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Works and the health department have lifted the boil water alert from a stretch of Southern Avenue, where crews were working Monday on repairs to the water system.
Tests have now shown that the water is safe to drink.
The announcement affects homes along Southern from Emerald Drive to the west end of the street.
