ALMENA TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM/FM) — A 25-year-old Paw Paw man wanted on felony drug and gun warrants is jailed after he was found cooking methamphetamine in a vehicle parked in a driveway.
Sheriff’s deputies in Van Buren County found a car with its tail lights on in the 36000 block of County Road 653 in Almena Township before 9 p.m. Thursday. They approached the vehicle while wearing night vision and found Warren Trowbridge inside, according to a press release.
Trowbridge was arrested without incident and told authorities afterward he had a meth lab in his vehicle. After a search, deputies found drug-manufacturing components, a large amount of crystal methamphetamine and other drugs inside.
Two women from Kalamazoo, 22 and 27, who rolled up to the scene in a car, were arrested after they were found in possession of large amounts of methamphetamine and cash. The driver had an open container of alcohol and admitted to deputies she smoked marijuana prior to her arrival.
Trowbridge was booked into the Van Buren County Jail on the outstanding warrants.
