KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — A 25-year-old man who Kalamazoo Public Safety says accidentally shot himself in the leg Sunday may face charges at a later date after drugs were found in the vehicle that brought him to Bronson Methodist Hospital.
The Kalamazoo resident arrived at the medical facility at around 8 p.m.
Officers have forwarded the case to prosecutors. They opted to not arrest the man because of his medical condition.
A discarded gun was found along Stadium Drive near Oliver Street, according to a press release.
