BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Protestors demonstrated outside the headquarters of W.K. Kellogg Company yesterday as they called for the company to stop using artificial colors in its breakfast cereals.
Kellogg has removed artificial colors and ingredients from products in other counties, including Canada, but not in the U.S.
That is despite the pledge Kellogg made almost ten years ago to take the action in the U.S. by 2018.
Protestors delivered petitions with over 400,000 signatures from people wanting the artificial dyes and BHT from cereal.
W.K. Kellogg Company says its products comply with federal regulations.
