DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Postseason baseball is returning to Comerica Park in downtown Detroit today for the first time since October 5th, 2014.
The Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Guardians will play game three of the American League Divisional Series at 3 p.m., with the best-of-five series tied at one game apiece.
The Tigers have played all four playoff games on the road so far this season, sweeping the Houston Astros in the wild card series and winning game two in Cleveland after a blowout loss in the first game.
Thursday, game four will start at 6 p.m. in Detroit.
As a result of that, the NHL’s Detroit Red Wings have moved the start time for their home opener Thursday night to 8 p.m. from 7 p.m.
