BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM/FM) — Two Battle Creek residents are recovering from bullet wounds after they were targeted by a drive by shooter at the intersection of East Bidwell Street and Terrace Avenue.
It happened at about 5:30 Wednesday evening.
A 27-year-old man was hit in the arm and the stomach, and a woman was struck in the arm by flying bullets, fired by a lone black male, driving a newer, reddish colored car.
Both the victims are expected to survive.
The gunman and his motive remain a mystery.
Battle Creek detectives are asking for any help they can get from the public.
