BUTLER COUNTY, OHIO (WKZO-AM/FM) — A former Western Michigan University football player, who is awaiting trial for a Kalamazoo residential break-in, has been given a probation sentence for choking a coworker at a Kohl’s near Cincinnati.
Bryson White was found guilty in Butler County, Ohio. He was given a one-year probation sentence and a fine. He was also ordered to stay away from the victim and the store.
White is awaiting trial in Kalamazoo for allegedly bursting into the apartment of a female Western Michigan University student and robbing her in the days just before the fall semester was to begin.
Fellow player Ronald George, who has admitted he was with White that day, has cut a deal with prosecutors. George has pleased guilty to a lesser charge and will testify against White at trial.
