BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — Battle Creek Police say they need your help to find a suspect in a disturbing case of child abuse.
They are looking for 34-year-old Isaac Miller for aggravated assault and 2nd degree child abuse of a 4-year-old autistic boy who appeared at the emergency room with his mother, Megan Schug, who is already in custody on child abuse charges.
The Doctors determined the child, Maloyd Gaines, had been severely abused and was at risk of dying. The boy was transferred in critical condition to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Bronson Kalamazoo.
Miller is a 5’10” African American Male weighting 170 lbs. Anyone who knows where he may be is asked to call Battle Creek Police or Silent Observer.
Three other children who lived in the home are being cared for by relatives.
