ANN ARBOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – University of Michigan basketball will open the 2020-21 season against Bowling Green on November 25 at Crisler Center.
The Wolverines will also play non-conference games against Oakland November 29, Central Florida December 6, and N.C. State December 9 as part of the ACC Big Ten Challenge.
The Big Ten has not yet announced their conference schedule.
The NCAA is relocating preliminary round sites for the 2021 Men’s Basketball Tournament due to Covid-19. Little Caesars Arena had been scheduled to host first and second round games March 18th through the 20th. The NCAA is in talks with officials in Indiana to potentially host the entire 68-team tournament, as Indianapolis is the site of the Final Four for 2021.
The 2020 event was cancelled due to the pandemic.
