COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Comstock Public Schools will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the renovated Comstock Middle School on Wednesday.
The school was first built in 1958 and was home to Comstock North Elementary until two years ago, when the elementary schools were combined into the former Northeast Middle School and the middle school moved.
The renovated middle school features a new interior along with new exterior walls, new windows, new ceiling racks and tiles, new flooring, fresh paint, new technology and more.
It also has a secure entrance, a refreshed library, new science rooms, a state-of-the-art gymnasium, and completely modern heating and air conditioning.
The ceremony will be at 5:30 p.m.at 3100 North 26th Street and is being done in conjunction with the school’s annual open house.
