KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — There have been more complaints filed about Kalamazoo’s “X-Train”, this time a homeowner on West Prouty caught them on her home video system doing donuts on her front lawn.
In fact they went up onto other lawns on Prouty this weekend. The rolling party has been the subject of complaints from north siders for years, and just last month from the Douglas Neighborhood Association, who took their complaint to the City Commission.
They say the cars gather every weekend in their area. They use drugs and alcohol and fire guns,drag race and generally make a lot of noise early in the morning and then tear around the neighborhood.
Mayor Bobby Hopewell advised them to take their complaint directly to Chief Jeff Hadley, who has dealt with the X-Train before. .
