KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – It will be a casual Monday as far as the dress code is concerned when Kalamazoo Public School’s high schools open.
Board president Ti’Anna Harrison says it’s most important that they show up for what will be just a half-day.
If they don’t want to get all dressed up for the first day, that’s fine.
Superintendent Darrin Slade says they start with half a day to make sure everything works and everyone knows where they are going.
Slade says they still expect students to obey all other school rules on Monday.
