BC Police say 57-year-old man is safe after being reported as missing

BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Battle Creek Police has confirmed that the 57-year-old Battle Creek who was reported as missing Thursday evening was located safe hours later in the 800 block of West Columbia Avenue by a Battle Creek resident.

The resident bought the missing man food at a local restaurant, and then stood by until police arrived.

The man was found in good condition and did not need any medical treatment. He was returned safely back to his residence.

There were concerns for the man as it was believed he had a diminished mental
capacity.
