KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — This is why you should always lock your vehicle. Two teens have been arrested for working their way through the parking lot at Candlewyck Apartments, helping themselves to whatever they found in unlocked cars.
An alert resident called police just before 2:00 this morning to report two teens checking door handles and acting suspiciously.
The 15 and 17 year old teens had broken into nine cars by the time PSO’s arrived and took them into custody.
The officers also recovered stolen property.
Both teens were arrested for Larceny from a motor vehicle and the older teen was also charged with possessing marijuana.
