KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — Kalamazoo city commissioners have unanimously approved the sale of Parking Ramp No. 4 for $3 million to PlazaCorp.
The developer has plans to invest $40 million building new hotels, renovating office space and adding residential space to buildings in the Arcadia Commons area.
The developer had everything but parking space. Now they have that, too.
PlazaCorp will maintain agreements to provide some parking spaces for Kalamazoo Valley Community College’s downtown campus and other businesses in the area for at least the next eight years.
