LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Governor Gretchen Whitmer is expected to announce new shutdown measures for Michigan in a special press briefing at 6:00 p.m. Sunday.
The Governor has reportedly been meeting with legislators, as well had the heads of health departments across the state to come up with the new plan.
Because of the rising number of COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths in Michigan, there is growing g speculation that the Governor will reimpose strict restrictions.
WILX-TV in Lansing quotes sources as saying those could include a work from home order for all non-essential workers, closing all indoor dining at restaurants and bars, and forcing all K-12 schools, colleges, and universities in Michigan to go to all-virtual learning.
