EAST LANSING, MI — Albert EL Fresco, the pedestrian-friendly area located along Albert Avenue between Grove Street and M.A.C. Avenue in downtown East Lansing, will close for the summer season on Monday Aug. 12. Those downtown streets will then re reopened to traffic
The city operates the outdoor dining and entertainment area each year from May through August to offer an outdoor venue for downtown businesses and city-sponsored events.

The East Lansing Police Department reminds community members and visitors to the City that open alcohol containers are not permitted in Albert EL Fresco, just as they are prohibited elsewhere in the City of East Lansing.
