KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — Hospital Hospitality House in Kalamazoo will host a unique wine-tasting on the Western Michigan University campus Friday.
The 21-and-older “Tasting on the Town” at the Fetzer Center starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $75.
“People can come in and taste wines from several different contries,” Executive Director Judy Markusse Paget said. “But while you’re tasting, you’ll be able to have some carnival-type food — mini corn dogs and funnel cake fries, among other things.”
Proceeds will offset expenses for the organization, which helps shelter families in Kalamazoo supporting loved ones at one of the local hospitals. They’ll also be raising money for two new houses near Bronson and Borgess.
Tickets can be purchased online and at the door on the day of the event.
