KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — There was a ceremony at Borgess Medical Center yesterday to celebrate the families that have agreed to donate the organs of loved ones and the recipients who have had their lives restored with those generous Gifts of Life.
Reverend Kirk Kremlick talked about the Cornea Transplants that allowed him to continue his ministry and Principal Jim Deters talked about the heart Transplant that saved his life.
The event included the raising of a Donate Life flag at the Hospital. More than 130 members of donor families and recipients attended the event.
