LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson says over a million votes have already been cast in today’s primary election.
Those were done by absentee ballot or by early in-person voting.
Over 970,000 voted absentee.
Benson says the absentee ballot requests for the primary were just over 1.6-million, lower than 2020’s nearly 1.9-million requests. Early in-person voting, however, was not an option four years ago.
