KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety is looking for the gunman who shot up property on three north-side streets before 8 a.m. Saturday..
The first call of shots fired to 911 came from a home in the 600 block of Bosker Avenue near North Westnedge Avenue. Soon after, another call came in from the 500 block of Lulu Street that a car and a shed had been hit by bullets.
That investigation led them to the 600 block of West Prouty Street, where they encountered the strong smell of natural gas. A bullet had punched a hole in a gas meter. Officers found additional bullet holes in the side of the house.
Lulu is one block north of Bosker and Prouty is one block north of Lulu.
