KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — It may not be safe to drink the water this morning in one section of the Westwood neighborhood in Kalamazoo Township following a water main break near the intersection of Kaywood and Junedale.
The health Department and the Kalamazoo Department of Public Services says all of the homes on Kaywood drive, Junedale Drive and Doncrest Drive and the homes on the north side of the Alamo Avenue intersection with Kaywood need to boil it or buy it before they drink it until testing is completed and the system is flushed.
It’s still safe to use for showers and washing clothes.
