KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM)– Kalamazoo City Commissioners will be asked to authorize bringing a sculpture called “Slices of Heaven” to Downtown Kalamazoo.
The artwork consists of four very large orange slices stacked on top of each other.
It would be placed at the south western edge of the Arcadia Festival Site across from the Water Street Parking lot for a year.
Private donors are picking up most of the $2500 rental cost, the Parks Department will be contributing the rest and Downtown Kalamazoo will pay for the cement pad it will sit on.
