CASS COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A motorcyclist from South Bend, Indiana has been injured in a crash in Cass County’s Jefferson Township.
The sheriff’s office says 56-year-old Isaac Hunt was going around a curve in foggy conditions just after 6:30 Thursday morning when he lost control and laid the bike on the pavement.
He was taken to Borgess Lee Dowagiac Hospital for his injuries.
Deputies say the crash happened at M-62 and Brick Church Road.
Alcohol was not a factor, but Hunt was not wearing a helmet.
That was crazy. My wife and I was on our way to work this morning and seen him laying on the ground. We thought he was dead. We was the first ones on the scene. We hurried up turned around and called 911. I jumped out of the car and ran over to him. His eyes was rolled in the back of his head. I started yelling at him and asking him if he was ok and he finally started moving around and coming back to it.
