KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Comerica Bank will donate $10,000 to the South Michigan Food Bank to help the community impact of the third annual Kalamazoo Growlers Food Drive.
Friday is the last day to donate non-perishable food items in the drive.
The donation from Comerica Bank will generate 55,000 meals to support SMFB’s outreach in the eight counties it serves.
The bank has contributed around $32,000 to the South Michigan Food Bank since 2019. That support has generated over 185,000 meals, with over 60,000 generated from Growlers food drives in 2022 and 2023.
Comerica and partners will deliver and announce the total amount of food collected for the South Michigan Food Bank during the Growlers’ game Friday evening.
