KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Public Safety Chief David Boysen says they believe they may have the solution to the nearly three-decades old problem called the “X-Train.”
Those are mobile nuisance parties that primarily affect the north side of the city and have had hundreds of cars involved.
Boysen says they now have the ability to get seizure orders for the cars involved and impound them during the day when it’s safer.
He says over 200 cars were involved in an “X-Train” party in the first weekend of June, and those numbers dropped to 43 vehicles this past weekend.
