TEXAS TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM/FM) — The Texas Township Farmers’ Market will open its 2017 season Saturday.
It’s the ninth season for the morning market next to Texas Township Hall, northwest of Q Avenue and 8th Street.
Market Manager Emily Beutel said 34 vendors will be in attendance from 8 a.m. to noon.
“They’ll have all kinds of early spring goodies, not to metion all the really good meats, baked goods and prepared foods we have in season, too.
Saturday markets run through Oct. 21. The first Tuesday market opens June 6.
