KALAMAZOO (WKZO-AM/FM) — A driver who launched a pickup onto the front porch of a home in the 1400 block of West Main Street in Kalamazoo early Sunday could face a list of charges.
The driver managed to climb from the wreckage and collapse on the roadway after the wreck, which happened before 8 a.m.
The 25-year-old Kalamazoo resident was transported to a hospital for emergency treatment. The condition of the suspect was not released. The driver may be transferred from a hospital bed to a jail cell as soon as doctors permit it.
Sgt. David Moran said they found stolen property, components for a methamphetamine lab, drug paraphernalia and suspected narcotics in the truck.
They believe the suspect may have been intoxicated at the time of the crash.
