PORTER TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Cass County Deputies are looking for a female driver behind the wheel of a beige car who got hit and still ran.
Right around noon yesterday, deputies got a call from a motorcyclist who complained that he had crashed into the rear of the Ford four-door on U.S. 12 west of M-217 in Porter Township.
He was thrown to the ground. The driver of the car fled the scene. 19-year-old Colin Scheiber of Elkhart was taken by ambulance to Elkhart General for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies are asking for the public’s help to identify the other vehicle.
