MANILA (Reuters) – The Philippines recorded 1,347 new coronavirus infections on Tuesday, the smallest daily increase since Nov. 4, taking its total confirmed cases to 399,749, the second highest number in Southeast Asia.
The health ministry also reported 14 additional deaths related to COVID-19 infections, the lowest since Oct. 12, bringing the country’s death toll to 7,661.
