COLDWATER (WKZO-AM/FM) — A Coldwater teenager has been arrested again for inappropriate sexual relations with a juvenile female.
Few details are being released because its a sexual assault case and because of the age of the victim, but 18-year-old Shane Watson is in custody for allegedly molesting a girl between 13 and 15.
Watson is charged with criminal sexual conduct in the third degree, accosting a child for immoral purposes and using a computer to commit a crime. He could get up to 15 years if convicted of the most serious of those charges.
Branch County Undersheriff Keith Eichler tells WOOD-TV that Watson has faced allegations like this before. He was charged with third-degree CSC last November for allegedly getting a 15-year-old girl with developmental disabilities pregnant.
The outcome of that case is apparently pending and could impact bond and how the teen is dealt with now that detectives claim he has done it again.
