BEDFORD TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM/FM) — Warrants are being sought charging a Battle Creek woman with home invasion and armed robbery after police say she andher accomplice entered a home and robbed two people at gunpoint.
Battle Creek police say it happened at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Oak Lawn Drive. Apparently, one of the victims recognized the white female suspect and gave her name to police.
They say the male accomplice pulled out a silver handgun and robbed the victims. The two suspects then fled in an older burgundy minivan with a broken rear passenger window that was covered with plastic, and had significant damage to the front driver’s side.
They have not been captured.
The second suspect is described as a six-foot, 200-pound male with a dollar sign tattoo between his eyes and a tear drop tat next to his left eye. He is armed and probably dangerous.
Anyone who sees them or may knows someone with the distinctive tattoos is urged to call the Battle Creek Police Department or Silent Observer at (269) 964-3888.
