KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Western Michigan University officials will meet today with pro-Palestinian protestors after they packed up and cleared out of the Gaza Solidarity Encampment.
The students want WMU to adopt a ceasefire resolution concerning the Israel-Hamas war and want to see the university’s financial records to see if there are any investments in Israel.
Protest co-organizer Roland Bissonnette says “when you mess with the money, that’s what always finally gets something to happen.”
They also want protection for students who are Palestinian or Muslim.
