ALLEGAN (WKZO-AM/FM) — Allegan County Sheriff’s detectives are waiting for the medical examiner’s final test results on the victim in their latest death investigation.
The body of 56-year-old William Marshal was found in the Kalamazoo River in Allegan on Monday night, but it appears his death was accidental.
The Allegan County Dive Team was called to recover the body after it was spotted by a boater near North and River streets.
The preliminary autopsy indicated drowning was the cause of death.
There were no signs of trauma.
