HICKORY CORNERS (WKZO-AM/FM) — The Gilmore Car Museum will host the 6th-annual Deutsche Marques all-German car show this Saturday.
Pete Hamlett, who is with the Deutsche Marques club, says registration starts at 8 a.m.
“It’s going to be $11 per person in a German car, with registration stopping around noon and judging starting right after that,” Hamlett said. “We have awards for best-of-show, and we have another 10 awards for all the different brands.”
You’ll see vehicles there from BMW, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi and other German manufacturers, Hamlett said. Also scheduled to be on display: A 1965 Porsche 356 once owned by rock legend Janis Joplin.
Proceeds will support the museum in Hickory Corners.
