PORTAGE (WKZO-AM/FM) — A Portage man, who is a person of interest in the disappearance of his wife, is free on bond after being arrested for snipping the internet, cable and air conditioning lines of his neighbor.
Christopher Lockhart is charged with felony interfering with communications for allegedly snipping the communications lines on the home next door. He is also charged with a misdemeanor destruction of property charge for disabling the air conditioner.
The incident prompted the neighbor to install security cameras. A condition of Lockhart’s bond requires him to keep his distance from the neighbor.
Lockhart is a person of interest in the disappearance of his wife Theresa, who vanished nearly two months ago without a trace. She is presumed dead.
That case remains under investigation.
