GALIEN TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM/FM) — Sheriff’s deputies in Berrien County say a 7-year-old girl is dead after drowning in a swimming hole in Galien Township.
She’s been identified as Sadie Geigler of Michigan City, Ind.
The incident happened on a rural property near Jeffrey and Spring Creek roads after 7 p.m. Monday.
Geigler was pronounced dead after being taken to Lakeland Hospital in Niles.
