BRIGHTON, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Former Congressman Mike Rogers has won the endorsement of former President Donald Trump as Rogers seeks the U.S. Senate seat in Michigan.
The Brighton Republican served in the U.S. House from 2001 to 2015 and served as House Intelligence Committee chairman.
Rogers has criticized Trump for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election that he lost to President Biden.
Rogers is also a former FBI agent and is the current frontrunner in the polls.
He faces former Congressmen Pete Meijer and Justin Amash along with businessman Sandy Pensler as they seek to take over for the retiring Democratic U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow.
