BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — The suspect in Battle Creek’s latest shooting has been formally charged. 36-year-old Angela Jamison came forward on her own after a 19-year-old male resident was shot once in the head at an address in the first block of Janoah Avenue Thurday night.
She is charged with assault with intent to murder, felony firearms and for carrying a concealed weapon. The victim was only slightly wounded and is listed in good condition.
Detectives say the shooting was apparently the result of a long standing dispute but do not go into details.
