LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) — Governor Rick Snyder will be traveling this next week, but it won’t be on vacation.
He may do some sightseeing along the way but the main goal of his 9-day trade mission to China will be to promote investment in the state, and push Pure Michigan as a tourist destination for Chinese Travelers looking for a little bit of Americana.
It will be his seventh trade mission to China since 2011.
“Chinese investment in Michigan has increased dramatically since then and we’ll continue to make the case that there is no better place in North America for Chinese companies to expand and create jobs than in Michigan.”
He will leave on Sunday and return on August 8th if all goes as planned.
