BATTLE CREEK (WKZO-AM/FM) — Investigators are trying to determine what sparked a suspicious fire that caused around $15,000 damage to an abandoned house on West Manchester Street in Battle Creek early Monday.
Firefighters were called to the scene after midnight. It took around an hour to get the flames under control, according to a press release.
Despite the roof collapsing, there were no injuries reported.
