KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — The City of Kalamazoo has spent the last year and a half putting together a wish list of what Kalamazoo residents would like to see the city add to its infrastructure or programming with the Imagine Kalamazoo 2025 process.
City Planning Staff have turned that wish list into a proposed Master Plan, a guide for implementation and they are seeking public comment.
They have scattered copies of the proposal around the community at neighborhood offices and libraries and made it available online. They also plan an open house early next month.
The deadline is mid-September.
After that it will go to the Planning Commission and then the City Commission, where there will be more opportunities for public input before it’s finally adopted sometime in October.
