SILVER CREEK TOWNSHIP (WKZO-AM/FM) — A Cass County man who was airlifted to Bronson Hospital’s Burn Unit after he tried to use gas to burn out an underground nest of stinging insects is listed in critical condition.
The incident occured on his property in Silver Creek Township Wednesday night. 46-year-old Leslie Cross II reportedly suffered burns over 60% of his body.
He is expected to survive but only after a long and painful rehabilitation.
