PORTAGE (WKZO-AM/FM) — Police in Portage say a 22-year-old woman had to be rushed to Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo with critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle near Sprinkle Road and Meredith Street late Thursday.
It happened around 10 p.m.
Investigators believe speed and alcohol were not factors in the collision.
The driver is reportedly a 23-year-old man from Kalamazoo.
